Product Overview
The Extreme Forecast Index (EFI) for gust winds at a height of 10 meters.
EFI is a measurement of the deviation from the climate norm at that location, where the sign indicates the direction of deviation and the value the amount of deviation.
Absolute values greater than 0.5 indicate unusual weather, and greater than 0.8 that extreme weather is likely.
