To implement a framework in which authorities, citizens, and civil society representatives can feel listened to, and actively engaged in co-designing and co-creating the MR-IEWS, adapted to regional and local needs, a Living Labs (LL) approach is implemented.
LLs are a user-centred methodology that fosters collaboration to ensure that innovations are practical and tailored to real community needs. It serves to develop collaborative research and mutual learning trajectories, working ‘from below’ and capitalizing on the participatory experiences and the social fabric of early-adopter regional authorities and municipalities engaged in the proposed co-creation process.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme for research and innovation under grant agreement No. 101121135. Additional funding is provided by the Swiss Government.
