Co-Creation Meeting
First Co-Creation Meeting 18 September 2024
The first Living Lab meeting in Setúbal took place on 18 September 2024, with participation from civil protection agents, municipal departments, local industries, and civil society actors. The early prototype of the MR-IEWS platform tailored for the Setúbal region was presented. The Setúbal Municipal Civil Protection Service highlighted key local risks and their geographic distribution. A discussion followed, emphasizing the value of multi-hazard early warning tools while acknowledging difficulties in accessing relevant national data. Participants stressed the need for local systems that bridge information gaps and support real-time decision-making in emergency contexts.
