The Landslide Early Warning System provides timely, location-specific estimates of the likelihood of rainfall-triggered landslides and debris flows.
It integrates current and forecasted precipitation with pre-existing susceptibility information to produce hazard levels that support preparedness and decision-making. Powered by the Landslide Early Warning algorithm, which uses a fuzzy-logic approach to merge static susceptibility data with dynamically updated precipitation inputs, the system classifies each cell as having a Very Low, Low, Moderate, or High potential for shallow landslides or debris flows.

The product provides real-time coverage across Europe, with more detailed, localized warnings also generated for Catalonia, Spain. Already licensed in Catalonia.
