Operational solutions to transform impact-forecast and data into actionable decisions
GOBEYOND is developing cutting-edge tools for impact forecasting algorithms for geo and weather hazards. These solutions will be tested in real-world settings to ensure they’re ready for use by risk management authorities.
The GOBEYOND Multi-Risk Impact-based Early Warning System (MR-IEWS) will be composed of a Processing Core and Decision Support System (DSS) platforms designed for international and local/regional levels.
A single system capitalising on the legacy of Early Warning Systems, integrating geo/weather data and algorithms to generate impact-based forecasting products. It will be able to feed a range of platforms tailored to meet user needs. EW4EU:
User-interface international platform that will integrate all the products available at European scale. EW4Med:
A second International platform adapted to the countries of the Union for the Mediterranean. Local/Regional:
Local and regional adapted DSSs to generate specific impact products and Site-Specific warnings for Civil Protection Authorities and first responders.
